Local Bookshops

44-46 Fountain Street, Belfast BT1 5EE, UK – 028 9024 0159

A lovely bookshop with a great variety of books. The interior and exterior is nice. The staff are friendly and there is a great atmosphere to the place. Really like it there are lots of them and they vary in size. There is normally a cafe which serves nice food and drink so you can relax while reading a new book. I would not call this an ideal place to go for breakfast or dinner as it is more for a snack or maybe lunch. A really good place.

There is a great selection of books to choose from. These range from biographies to history to fiction and beyond. Staff willing to help if needed and won't bother you unless you ask. The only issue is their isn't many deals on books. Most are priced at RRP and can be sourced cheaper elsewhere.

Blackwell's University Bookshop

Opening Soon!, 42 University Rd, Belfast BT7 1NJ, UK – 07341 872988

I wanted to buy few books with my bursary money but they were out of stock. The staff suggested that I can use my bursary to buy gift cards which then can be used online, which is what I did. All books arrived quickly, but one was slightly damaged. I contacted their support and had a replacement sent out the next day, and was allowed to keep the old one. So in short, very good customer service both online and in store.

Great little store

Great selection of books, everything is organized accordingly. Can be a bit narrow to walk through at times but this isn't a major issue

Amazing shop, you're not going to find pristine, collectible books here. But if you love a good rummage the books are piled high and deep here ...
